Angel 04:47
The angel in your hat moves so gracefully past antiquities and down that stairwell. and how are you going to be when your 33 when you’ve achieved when they believe. well. will you come into this dusty house with a dollar on your hand. look for that boy again. well. the angel in my soul move so gratefully past antiquities and down that stairwell. well. one more step to take since we’re down here anyway. it wouldn’t do no harm for you to take my arm being you are. and how are you. well.

another day i could say it would be fine. if it was another way it would be mine. now everything is alright. just alright. like a thousand days each night.

Thunder King 02:02
thunder king. slumbering. kiss her ring. slumbering. in comes another as precious as the first. to celebrate a dream we cherish his birth. lifting our spirits we all say a word. for a king is by name an angel by worth. thunder king. slumbering. kiss her ring. slumbering.

another glass of wine and the rose glistens through. the crystal sings. my finger sounds the blues. i want to know where you are tonight and if i am a fool. i like to do it right but right is just a tool. legs slide inside glass like desperation. it will pass. i lift the stem to raise the rose and no one knows where you are tonight and if i am a fool. i’d like to do it right but right is just a tool. i’ll settle for libations some imagination and my guitar. pretend you’re crying. pretend you care. pretend your gone. pretend you’re there writing playing singing me a song. i want to know where you are tonight and if i am a fool. let’s break all the rules. we can break all the rules.

about

LVEO was born in October of 2003 as the support band for Bobomagic. About a decade later, Scott Weissman saw us (Bob and ED) playing at a birthday party for Cyrus McGuire and invited us into the studio. The timing was great because the rhythm section (enter Lord Richardson) had recently changed up their game to liven things up and, as a result, a few people actually danced at shows. Later we discovered that it was because they were on mushrooms, but nevertheless, we were inspired to move in this more kinetic direction. We laid down all the basic tracks in one session. Scott did a lot of mixing, Ed did a lot of producing and then Scotty and Jen added talent to mix to make it all sound better. 9 months later out popped TK. Well something like that.

The title song was improvised in the studio and lyrics were added a few... uhh.. weeks later?!?!... in the parking lot of Bed, Bath & Beyond. TK is a tribute to my second kid, Joey, who was just a tiny little fetus at the time. Big sister Juniper can be heard on the track saying "I love you"over and over again.

Most of the other songs are newish older songs that have been played over the years at shows. "Another Another Day" and "Song for Maria Revisited" are different takes of songs from the 2003 album "lveo" by Bobomagic. All of the songs on this EP are in my weird tuning that Scotty Rock n' Roll says is all As and Ds. I think it's D-A-D-A-A-D which is really fitting if you think about it.

People have this stuff about Thunder King:

"Totally Bob in every way."

"Super cool stuff"

"I am doing office work this morning, listening to the Thunder King as loud as my speakers can go. RAWKKNG!!!!! RrrrrRrrRRRRararrrarrAWK!!!! Wow! A thunderous LVEO revival!"

"I think the secret truth is that you are always rocking hard. Even while absorbed in the deepest realms of sleep."

"Listened to the entire album and loved it!"

"Where do you find the time to rock so hard?!"

"Very big, wide and layered with some moody groovey. I dig it."

"I can't tell you how much I am enjoying this CD... Listening to it makes me want to be more creative. You've really come a long way since we first discussed your (as well as my own) musical aspirations in what seems like another lifetime. There are elements of several different bands/artists I enjoy interspersed throughout this recording, but the development of your voice as a song writer and recording artist makes me very, very proud. I look forward to what comes next."

"Moar!!!! Pleaze"

"Awesome!"

"I lveo it! Sorry I can't find a lighter emoji."

"So cool!!!!!"

"Got my LVEO CD! Sounds great and congrats!"

"I'm so excited"

"Rock! That... is sick!"

"Love it!"

"Terrific!"

"Oooh I like that song. Nnnoooice!"

"Wow! Sounds great!! I have a chill by listening this song!"

"Love the new CD"

"So retro, I love it!"

"Very cool stuff... It's awesome. I'm digging it."

"Can I just quite my job and be full time LVEO?"
